“The Gift of Christmas Peace” Video

Christmas PeaceWe have a tradition of sharing “The Gift of Christmas Peace” video right after Thanksgiving. We hope you enjoy watching it and please feel free to share it with your family/friends. We really wish to give a peaceful interlude to as many people as possible, via a beautiful song (Pachelbel’s Canon/The First Noel), winter scenes and a lovely written message.

May you experience Christmas peace as you move through the busy month of December.

Happy Thanksgiving from Musical Reflections

Happy ThanksgivingThanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays. A time of being in gratitude, we are aware that we have much to be so thankful for:

  • Our many presentations with the opportunity to share harp music and our message of hope and healing.
  • Our wonderful customers who purchase CDs and books to support their journey.
  • Our “other” business called the BioMat. We have met so many great customers to help with their healing journeys. (And we also love the product personally!!)
  • Our flexible schedule to care for aging parents.

May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving overflowing with blessings of grace, peace and love.

The Season of Gratitude

Gratitude 2In our monthly e-zine last November, we suggested this meditation and we had so many positive comments, we decided to share it here!

A simple gratitude meditation:

  • Connect with your heart by taking several deep breaths.
  • Smile as you think about everything that is right in your life.
  • Radiate this good energy into the world.

Here’s to a lovely Thanksgiving season…

Good Samaritans

Good SamaritanThis incident happened at Thanksgiving last year. After completing my visit with my parents in Lexington, KY, they dropped me off at the airport. As they were driving home, their car caught on fire! They stopped at a stoplight and noticed smoke coming out of the hood. A woman pulled up next to them, rolled down her window and screamed, “Your car is on fire … get OUT immediately! I’m driving on and will call the police for you.”

My parents did get out – right in the middle of the intersection. Can you imagine two vulnerable elderly people standing in the middle of a busy intersection? Oh my! A gentleman in a car right behind them saw what was happening and he yelled, “Get in with me and I’ll back up” (in case their car exploded). The police and fire department made it in time to extinguish the fire – it totaled the car, but my parents were able to retrieve their personal belongings (mom’s purse, Dad’s walker, etc.).

My sister and I are so grateful for these angels/good Samaritans who took such great care of them. If you stop and think about it, I bet you and your family has a similar story. Feel free to share your thoughts … we love to hear from you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving - 2I love the Thanksgiving holiday, do you? It is a much simpler holiday than Christmas …

  • Thanksgiving is not about gift-giving, but gratitude for our bountiful gifts!
  • There’s not “pressure” of extra Christmas baking and goody-making, yet a delicious meal with family gathered.
  • No massive house transformations with Christmas decorations, but tasteful autumn décor.

Here’s wishing you and your family a beautiful holiday filled with gratitude…Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This holiday is a special time to reflect on gratitude. Here’s a few things I am deeply grateful for:

  • Your continued support.
  • Continuing to play bedside vigils at a local hospital.
  • Sharing the special message of music, hope and healing at numerous healthcare conferences throughout the year.
  • Sharing my music with thousands via this website and in retail stores.
  • Having an opportunity to be with my family at this special time.

Have a lovely Thanksgiving!

Appreciating your continued support

There’s so much happening in the world of integrative therapies. I feel very blessed to do the work that is my “calling” and I am deeply grateful for your continued support.

As we move into the Thanksgiving holiday, here’s a few of my favorite presentations/events from 2012:

I have some availability in 2013 … I would be happy to present/play at your special event and I look forward to connecting!
