The Stress of Back-to-School

back to schoolFor children and teens, back-to-school time can be very stressful. First of all, the freedom that summer brings is over. Secondly, there can be a much earlier morning routine of breakfast, getting to the bus, etc. And third, headed back into the classroom brings uncertainty of new teacher(s), friends and environments. All of this amounts to stress and tension … and adults feel this, too. (Even if you don’t have children, there’s a “remembering feeling” that goes with this time of year.)

How can Musical Reflections help? Just a friendly reminder that we are here to provide relaxation, peace and calm to every day regardless of the stress you and your family feel. May soothing harp music bring you to a place of balance …

Happy Autumn!

Welcome back!  I hope you had a nice summer.

The day after Labor Day is always busy, full of energy. Perhaps it’s the children going back to school or the anticipation of autumn, but it always feels like a “quickening,” an intense stepping up of busy-ness.

Here’s to your easy transition into the next season…
