Therapeutic Harpist
Tami is a certified harp practitioner and has played the harp at the bedside of hundreds of hospital and hospice patients. She uses her musical experience and her clinical training to address the immediate needs of the patient, the patient's loved ones, and the professional staff.
Presentations, Keynote Concerts and Retreats
After experiencing numerous profound and deeply spiritual experiences playing the harp at the hospital and hospice bedside, Tami Briggs created a lecture series on the healing power of music.
As a dynamic facilitator and a pioneer in the harp therapy field, Tami facilitates and lectures to educate people about using music in the healing process. She brings a unique set of skills and an experiential approach as a health educator and speaker. By weaving together powerful stories and practical tips with live musical examples (bringing her lap or folk harp to each presentation), she demonstrates music's role in the healing process.
