Musical Reflections provides therapeutic music to the healthcare environment and the health-conscious community. Tami Briggs is the founder of Musical Reflections. As a therapeutic harpist, she facilitates and witnesses this powerful, yet very gentle instrument touching people's psyches and penetrating the human body in deep places.
The harp - steeped in angelic and healing traditions - creates an ethereal effect of relaxation and comfort. Its unique vibrations connect us to our deepest longing of peace - both within ourselves and in the world. This is the essence of Musical Reflections. |
Therapeutic Harpist
Tami is a certified harp practitioner and has played the harp at the bedside of hundreds of hospital and hospice patients. She uses her musical experience and her clinical training to address the immediate needs of the patient, the patient's loved ones, and the professional staff. Presentations, Keynote Concerts and Retreats
As a dynamic facilitator and a pioneer in the harp therapy field, Tami facilitates and lectures to educate people about using music in the healing process. She brings a unique set of skills and an experiential approach as a health educator and speaker. By weaving together powerful stories and practical tips with live musical examples (bringing her lap or folk harp to each presentation), she demonstrates music's role in the healing process.
