More hearts are open Uniting in compassion Touched by loving spirits Aware of God's light. It is about America And it's so much bigger, too. For we are just one nation That is a part of the world. We are awakened to our interdependence We are called to care For in this place of beauty We have a vision to share. Our responsibility is peace How we contribute is the question May we seek the answers Creating harmony and giving love to all today. On September 11th, we were jolted into a new time. It is an opening to explore and discover and find new solutions. As Thomas Edison said, "You cannot solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it." It seems each of us is asking questions - whether they are deep or shallow, or both - we are reviewing life as it was, as well as creating and holding a vision for the future. This is our challenge, our opportunity, and our responsibility. I am reminded of a Native American tradition where one person's role is to remain at peace, centered in spiritual vision, no matter what events befall the tribe. Even if everyone else slips into pain, fear, or dissension, they can rely on this person as a lifeline to the Presence. My hope is that this CD will speak to the peacekeeper in each of us, especially during this important time. The essence of the harp is its vibrations that touch our hearts and souls. When we send positive vibrations into the world, we know this contributes to global healing. Further, we know that the feelings of love, laughter, and joy raise our vibrational level while fear, anger, and hate are lower vibrations. The intent of An American Prayer is to radiate vibrations of joy and love to help the world heal. Let love prevail at this time of transformation. Wishing you deepest peace,
