Last Friday I played the harp for the children at the Mayo Clinic. The Child Life Specialist, who hires me, had me set up my harp in the pediatric ICU. A two-year-old boy came running up to the harp. Following close behind him was a man and I said to him, “Are you this little boy’s grand-father?” He said, “No, I’m his DAD!!! And I’ll lose some sleep tonight with this comment!”

I thought you’re not the only one to lose sleep over my comment!!! It reminds me of asking a woman if she’s pregnant and she says no! I learned about this lesson the difficult way years ago. Guess I learned another lesson last week!!!
